Responsibilities
- Design software testing plans and create and execute manual and automated tests.
- Use Selenium and Playwright and guide teams on appropriate automation coverage.
- Coordinate issue resolution, quality-risk management, and defect-management processes.
- Monitor production quality and coordinate resolution of production issues.
- Ensure testing activities comply with project rules, quality standards, and agreed processes.
- Perform functional testing during CI/CD processes and support reliable releases.
- Influence testability during design, grooming, and development phases.
- Test the product throughout its lifecycle, including Production.
- Provide developers with clear test results, regression areas, and actionable defect information.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4+ years of automation engineering experience with Selenium WebDriver and/or Playwright using C#/.NET and xUnit.
- Experience testing .NET Core web applications, microservices, and AngularJS, including cross-browser and cross-device validation.
- Knowledge of databases, SQL, CRUD operations, JOINs, and data-driven application validation.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs, client-server application architecture, CI/CD processes, and test case/script design and execution.
- Basic Docker knowledge and familiarity with AWS cloud services such as EC2, S3, and RDS.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for coordinating testing, defect management, and issue resolution.
- Good spoken and written English.
- Exposure to performance and load testing tools such as CloudTest, Cloud Testing using ADOPS, or K6 is a plus.
