Responsibilities
- Analyze, profile, and optimize .NET Framework and .NET Core web services in production.
- Define performance benchmarks, KPIs, and SLOs with cross-functional teams.
- Identify and eliminate bottlenecks across application, infrastructure, and database layers.
- Design and execute performance, load, stress, and endurance tests.
- Build automation for performance testing, benchmarking, capacity planning, and continuous validation.
- Respond to performance incidents and escalations and help prioritize engineering work.
- Support performance validation during releases and critical performance incident scenarios.
Requirements
- Strong application development and software engineering expertise with hands-on experience in C#, Java, Go, Groovy, or Python.
- Experience with AWS, vSphere, Google Cloud Platform, network protocols, Linux/Unix system internals, and system performance tuning.
- Experience with GitHub Actions, Artifactory, Terraform, Helm, Chef, and Salt.
- Knowledge of network, database, server, and storage infrastructure domains and Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Experience with Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus, Wavefront, Kibana, Logz.io, dotTrace/dotMemory, or SentryOne for monitoring, observability, or profiling.
- Strong experience with load testing, workload modeling, profiling, benchmarking, and capacity planning.
- Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, Z-Scoring techniques, and LLMs for advanced analysis and anomaly detection is a plus.
