Responsibilities
- Design and implement test plans covering functional requirements, performance, usability, and existing software functionality.
- Create, execute, and automate test cases using specialized tools and scripts.
- Perform regression, integration, functional, performance, manual, exploratory, and user acceptance testing.
- Enhance and maintain test automation frameworks and optimize test environments.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD build pipelines.
- Document test results, analyze findings, recommend corrective actions, and manage defect tickets.
- Collaborate with delivery teams, product management, developers, stakeholders, and end users to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Apply accessibility standards and guidelines, including WCAG, ADA, and Section 508, in software testing.
- Promote testing best practices and research new testing methodologies and technologies.
Requirements
- At least 3–6 years of development and/or QA testing experience.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience writing test automation scripts and designing and implementing test plans.
- Familiarity with Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or Puppeteer.
- Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language, such as JavaScript, Python, or Java.
- Experience with SQL and familiarity with RESTful API testing using Postman or REST Assured.
- Experience with application performance monitoring and observability tools such as New Relic or Dynatrace.
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment tools.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and task ownership skills.
- Relevant certifications such as ISTQB are advantageous.
