Responsibilities
- Design and implement low-latency, highly available, and performant applications with Python and Flask.
- Build and maintain scalable RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
- Integrate frontend elements with server-side logic.
- Design database schemas, optimize queries, and manage data storage solutions.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and bugs through profiling and refactoring.
- Use Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and microservices orchestration.
- Develop background-task processing with Celery and message brokers.
- Mentor junior developers and promote software engineering best practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional Python experience.
- Deep knowledge of Python 3.x, including decorators, generators, and context managers.
- Extensive experience with Flask and its ecosystem, including Flask-SQLAlchemy, Flask-Migrate, Flask-RESTful, and Marshmallow.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
- Proficiency writing unit, integration, and functional tests with PyTest or Unittest.
- Experience with Celery and RabbitMQ or Redis for asynchronous processing.
- Strong knowledge of ORMs, raw SQL, database migrations, and database design.
- Preferred experience with microservices or Domain-Driven Design.
- Preferred familiarity with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Preferred understanding of OAuth2 and JWT authentication protocols.
