Responsibilities
- Establish test plans and approaches for product features and functionality.
- Design and implement automated integration and workflow tests.
- Conduct system and end-to-end testing and coordinate release and deployment activities.
- Assess load and performance testing needs and create tests to evaluate system performance under load.
- Partner with developers to improve application testability.
- Collaborate with software engineers, product owners, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality products and services.
- Participate in peer code reviews and improve the reliability and maintainability of test automation architecture.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or relevant experience.
- 3+ years of software testing or quality engineering experience.
- Broad knowledge of computer science concepts and technologies.
- Experience with automated testing tools such as Pytest, Selenium, Playwright, or equivalent tools.
- Familiarity with object-oriented programming languages such as Python and Java.
- Comfort with SQL and writing SQL queries.
- Exposure to RESTful APIs and tools such as Postman or Curl.
- Some experience with load and performance testing tools.
- Experience with front-end and back-end automation frameworks such as Selenium, QA Robot, Playwright, Pytest, and RestAssured.
- Experience with build, package, configuration, and release management tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, GitLab, and GitHub.
- Experience working in Scrum/Agile and DevOps environments.
- Bonus experience with Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, and observability tools such as Grafana, OpenSearch, Coralogix, and Datadog.
