Responsibilities
- Design and operate globally distributed infrastructure for data ingestion.
- Collaborate with the Client Infrastructure team to improve data processing pipelines.
- Solve complex problems related to distributed systems and performance optimization.
- Utilize multiple programming languages, primarily Rust and Python, for system-level challenges.
- Work with Infrastructure and Operations teams to handle over a billion events daily.
- Ensure code correctness through unit and integration testing and clear documentation.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to maintain service stability.
Requirements
- 2+ years of relevant experience in software engineering.
- Experience with compiled programming languages such as C, C++, or Rust.
- Ability to solve complex problems with high-quality software development.
- Self-motivated and able to thrive with minimal supervision.
- Passionate about software and system design.
- Bonus points for experience with Python, Kafka, Redis, or Postgres.
- Good written and spoken English communication skills.
