Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise architecture assessments, technology health checks, modernization engagements, and transformation roadmaps.
- Assess application, platform, cloud, data, and integration landscapes and define future-state architectures.
- Perform architecture gap analysis, technology rationalization, and technology due diligence for modernization, mergers, acquisitions, and strategic investments.
- Evaluate application portfolios and recommend application modernization, cloud migration, and legacy transformation strategies.
- Assess architectures against scalability, security, resilience, performance, maintainability, and cost objectives.
- Produce architecture recommendations, assessment reports, reference architectures, and implementation roadmaps.
- Provide architecture governance and technical direction for large transformation programs.
- Collaborate with cloud, infrastructure, data, AI, security, and engineering specialists.
- Mentor engineering and architecture teams on architecture best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience is required.
- 10–18+ years of overall IT experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in solution or enterprise architecture.
- Hands-on software engineering background and experience delivering enterprise-scale transformation programs.
- Experience conducting architecture assessments and working across multiple technology domains.
- Experience with Java Full Stack Development, Node.js, .NET Full Stack Development, and Solution Architecture.
- Knowledge of enterprise, application, integration, cloud, platform, distributed systems, microservices, event-driven, and API architecture.
- Experience with one or more of Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong analytical and diagnostic thinking, structured problem-solving, documentation, stakeholder collaboration, communication, consulting, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Consulting or advisory experience is preferred.
- Preferred certifications include TOGAF, Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect, Kubernetes Certification, and architecture framework certifications.
- 15 years of full-time education.
