Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
- Implement business logic, database interactions, third-party integrations, and performance optimizations.
- Develop responsive frontend interfaces using modern frameworks and collaborate with UI/UX designers.
- Design and manage relational and NoSQL databases and optimize database queries and performance.
- Collaborate on cloud deployment, write unit/integration/end-to-end tests, and debug application issues.
- Own system decisions and operations, research and pitch projects, and build trusted partnerships with product heads and executive stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience.
- B.S. or higher in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Expertise in Java, React JS, and HTML5.
- Familiarity with distributed systems, NoSQL and relational databases, distributed messaging, or transactional services.
- Experience integrating with RESTful web services.
- Preferred experience with microservice-based architecture, Kafka, MongoDB, Spring, and Vert.x.
- Comfort working with Agile Operating Models.
