Responsibilities
- Design, build, and manage data ingestion pipelines using OpenSearch, Kafka, Druid, and open-source packages.
- Build containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Develop Python-based applications for automation and task management.
- Build real-time data pipelines for unstructured data and support advanced analytics.
- Ensure data integrity, quality, security, observability, and scalability throughout the data lifecycle.
- Develop integrations between infrastructure platforms, APIs, databases, and enterprise systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver scalable software solutions.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience; a bachelor’s degree is one stated qualification path, but the posting also accepts 3+ years of relevant experience without a degree.
- Preferred experience includes 3–6 years with Python or Java, REST APIs and JSON integrations, Angular JS or React, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud applications.
- Experience with Git, infrastructure automation, platform engineering, DevOps, cloud-based data engineering, container technologies, and hybrid cloud environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of generative AI, intelligent automation, automated testing, version control, CI/CD, documentation, and observability is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, learning, and software development skills are expected.
