Responsibilities
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented software with minimal supervision.
- Participate in code reviews, team meetings, technical discussions, and project planning.
- Work with senior engineers and stakeholders to understand requirements, resolve defects, and provide updates.
- Maintain and support existing software applications and troubleshoot production issues.
- Support live-service operations through monitoring, bug identification, debugging, and fixes.
- Participate in incident root-cause analysis and drive improvements in security, maintenance, and resilience.
- Apply DevOps principles, test automation, programming tools, and performance checks with growing independence.
- Lead small technical initiatives and solve more complex problems using algorithms and logical analysis.
- Follow approved technologies, standard practices, group policies, and release guidelines.
- Share knowledge with early-career engineers and contribute to team capability building.
- Keep technical skills current through on-the-job learning, training, and awareness of emerging technologies.
- Apply traditional and agile practices to plan, prioritize, and deliver work effectively.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of professional experience.
- Full-stack development skills with an understanding of backend development principles and APIs.
- Ability to develop reliable and efficient software using approved technologies and standard practices.
- Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code with minimal supervision.
- Experience with troubleshooting, debugging, application maintenance, live-service support, monitoring, and defect resolution.
- Ability to contribute to incident root-cause analysis and improvements in security, maintenance, and resilience.
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and collaborate across teams.
- Understanding of test automation, performance checks, DevOps principles, and agile ways of working.
- Ability to lead small technical initiatives and use efficient algorithms and logical analysis.
- Basic understanding of AI concepts and terminology and the ability to follow established guidelines for AI tools.
