Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the TrustCore SDK security software for embedded platforms.
- Develop new features from conceptualization through design and implementation.
- Analyze and troubleshoot defects found during testing.
- Participate in design reviews and create or update detailed design documents.
- Research customer issues and contribute development solutions.
- Estimate task timelines and development activities while meeting schedules.
- Mentor junior engineers through technical guidance, code reviews, best practices, and skills development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related computer networking and security field, or equivalent.
- At least five years of industry software development experience.
- Strong C language and multithreaded programming skills.
- In-depth knowledge of data structures and algorithms and network security protocol internals, including TCP, UDP, SSL, SSH, IPsec, and wireless technologies.
- Experience with object-oriented design, coding, and unit testing.
- Understanding of secure coding standards.
- Good technical writing, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Linux, Windows, or macOS and RTOS platforms such as Zephyr, FreeRTOS, or QNX is beneficial.
- Knowledge of PKI infrastructure, cryptography APIs, Wireshark, Git, JIRA, Eclipse, Microsoft Visual Studio, or embedded system software development is a plus.
