Responsibilities
- Modernize, extend, and maintain the proprietary BOSS back-office platform with emphasis on performance, reliability, and scalability
- Own end-to-end delivery by partnering with stakeholders, designing solutions, and shipping thoroughly tested code
- Build and architect software that streamlines and automates workflows across Operations, Treasury, Fund Accounting, Investor Relations, and Compliance
- Collaborate with front-office, data, and AI engineering teams on cross-cutting challenges
- Help migrate legacy components to modern, maintainable standards
Requirements
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
- Production-level experience with Python and/or Java
- Fluency in SQL
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Collaborative and proactive communication with ownership and follow-through
- Experience with React or modern front-end frameworks is a bonus
- Familiarity with C# is a bonus
- Experience in a Linux environment is a bonus
- Interest in process automation and workflow optimization is a bonus
- Comfort using GitHub Copilot and Claude is a bonus
