Responsibilities
- Architect, extend, and optimize large-scale, fault-tolerant systems processing billions of AI-related events with sub-second latency.
- Set technical direction for securing data flowing into and out of AI models, GenAI applications, and autonomous agents.
- Architect and implement end-to-end security features that protect customer data.
- Analyze and troubleshoot performance and scaling issues involving distributed systems and large databases.
- Build connectors integrating with enterprise SaaS and AI platforms at the API level.
- Develop secure-by-design software that processes untrusted data and communicates with hundreds of thousands of endpoints.
- Lead architecture reviews, mentor senior and staff engineers, and establish technical patterns for the team.
Requirements
- Strong track record building and significantly extending the architecture of production backends used at scale.
- Deep hands-on experience developing large applications in Go.
- Experience operating databases at very large scale; knowledge of GCP services including BigTable, BigQuery, and Spanner is a plus.
- Experience profiling and optimizing distributed code using large databases and streaming platforms.
- Experience building API-level connectors for enterprise SaaS applications, especially AI and LLM platforms, is a plus.
- Hands-on production experience with microservices and Kubernetes.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills and ability to collaborate frequently with distributed teams in Europe and the United States.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and ship with velocity.
- Customer-centric mindset and comfort receiving direct customer feedback.
- Must be based in India or the EU.
