Base Salary
$193k - $309k/yr
Responsibilities
- Plan, design, build, and deliver features for Toast’s payments products.
- Implement best practices such as automated test suites to ensure high code quality.
- Monitor the rollout of features to customers for success.
- Collaborate with PM and UX on feature definition and design.
- Partner with various teams across Toast to share knowledge.
- Lead design and code reviews with experienced engineers.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in designing and implementing robust backend services.
- Ability to guide and mentor junior engineers on best practices.
- Proven ability to design and develop scalable and secure APIs.
- Knowledge of API lifecycle management best practices.
- Experience with microservices architecture and containerization technologies.
