Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain the frontend and backend of a new internal platform from feature development through production.
- Build and maintain integrations with cloud and AI infrastructure.
- Translate business workflows into working software in collaboration with non-technical stakeholders.
- Implement secure authentication, access control, and data governance for sensitive business data.
- Contribute to testing, CI/CD, deployment, observability, and other engineering best practices.
- Iterate on features using real usage and feedback while balancing speed and reliability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience with hands-on frontend and backend work.
- Solid Python skills and experience with FastAPI or a comparable asynchronous Python web framework.
- Production experience with React and TypeScript.
- Familiarity with LLM or AI API integrations; agentic or tool-calling experience is a plus.
- Experience with a major cloud provider, with Azure preferred and AWS or GCP considered.
- Strong SQL query-writing skills and the ability to understand and optimize database performance.
- Working knowledge of OAuth 2.0 and OIDC authentication flows.
- Ability to clarify and shape requirements with non-technical business stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments.
