Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate cloud-native platforms for software validation, release validation, production readiness, and scalable test infrastructure.
- Develop automated test pipelines, observability, reliability signals, deployment intelligence, quality gates, and deployment validation workflows.
- Build reusable frameworks, self-service engineering environments, test data management systems, mock services, and developer productivity tooling.
- Design and enhance Kubernetes-based platforms for release automation, cloud-native workloads, and developer self-service.
- Implement validation for failure detection, deployment verification, policy enforcement, security checks, resilience testing, disaster recovery, and operational health.
- Resolve complex platform, infrastructure, networking, and distributed-systems challenges through software engineering and automation.
- Partner with engineering teams, participate in architecture and technical design reviews, and mentor engineers through technical guidance and code reviews.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Platform Engineering, Software Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering with a bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on Kubernetes experience covering cluster operations, networking, storage, security, autoscaling, and multi-cluster environments.
- Experience building and operating scalable, highly available cloud-native platforms and integrating Kubernetes with CI/CD, GitOps, automated testing, and deployment workflows.
- Experience with developer productivity automation, progressive delivery, canary deployments, feature flags, automated rollback, deployment verification, chaos engineering, resilience testing, and disaster recovery.
- Strong software engineering experience designing, developing, testing, and debugging applications with Python, Go, Java, or Ruby.
- Strong understanding of observability, monitoring, SLI/SLOs, incident management, and production operations for distributed systems.
- Ability to solve complex technical problems, drive projects independently, collaborate across globally distributed engineering teams, and operate effectively in ambiguous environments.
- Preferred experience includes GitLab CI/CD, Argo CD, Flux, enterprise test automation, service virtualization, contract testing, synthetic testing, infrastructure as code, configuration management, Kubernetes ecosystem tools, and AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with AI-assisted engineering, intelligent testing, release risk analysis, incident diagnostics, or operational automation is a plus.

- Base pay is $146,200-$255,900, plus equity when applicable, variable or incentive compensation, and benefits.
