Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of robust SAP solutions using core and object-oriented ABAP.
- Implement SAP ABAP workflow solutions for approvals, automation, event handling, and background processes.
- Develop and optimize ABAP web services for real-time integration with internal and external systems.
- Configure and maintain BRF business rules and build WebDynpro for ABAP and WebDynpro for Java applications.
- Review and refactor ABAP code to improve performance, readability, reusability, and adherence to coding standards.
- Translate business and process requirements into technical designs for supply chain and multichannel operations.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, performance tuning, and defect resolution.
- Provide technical guidance on ABAP, workflow design, object-oriented patterns, and service-based integration.
- Coordinate with Basis and integration teams on system performance, database access, and interface configuration.
- Document technical specifications, solution designs, and configuration details.
Requirements
- Advanced proficiency in core ABAP and object-oriented ABAP, including modularization, classes, interfaces, and performance optimization.
- Hands-on experience designing and customizing SAP ABAP workflows, including event handling, approval chains, and background processes.
- Proven ability to develop and consume ABAP web services for interoperable architectures.
- Practical expertise with BRF Business Rules Framework, including modeling, testing, deployment, and maintenance of rule sets.
- Experience building and maintaining WebDynpro for ABAP and SAP WebDynpro for Java applications.
- Understanding of supply chain management and multichannel domain concepts.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional stakeholders in hybrid teams.
