Responsibilities

Architect enterprise-grade AI agents and multi-agent workflows across Supply Chain, IT Operations, and Human Resources.
Lead the development of modern full-stack web applications and foundational backend middleware platforms.
Design secure, scalable, high-throughput integrations with enterprise systems and applications, including MCPs and enterprise integration frameworks.
Define organizational standards for prompts, tools, telemetry, AI solution architecture, authentication, authorization, security, observability, reliability, and cost optimization.
Design reference deployment architectures for ADP BYOC environments on AWS.
Lead business workshops to identify and structure high-value automation and AI opportunities.
Establish engineering standards, development methodologies, reference architectures, and industrialization frameworks for enterprise AI deployment.
Act as the technical lead and subject matter expert for the FDE pod while mentoring junior engineers.
Partner with enterprise architects, Redpanda FDE engineers, cloud teams, infrastructure teams, network teams, and other stakeholders.

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
At least nine years of software engineering and solution architecture experience.
Expert-level experience with cloud platforms and cloud-native application architectures.
Strong expertise in enterprise security architecture, authentication, authorization, and secure integration patterns.
Extensive experience designing and implementing enterprise APIs and integration solutions.
Strong knowledge of distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
Experience leading complex technical initiatives and influencing architecture decisions across multiple teams.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with technical and business audiences.
Preferred experience with Kafka or Redpanda, LLM platforms, generative AI technologies, and agentic workflow frameworks.
Preferred experience with Azure AI Foundry, Microsoft Copilot Studio, or similar AI development platforms.
Preferred experience designing, deploying, and operating enterprise-scale AI applications or autonomous agentic systems in production.
Preferred understanding of observability, governance, risk management, and cloud cost-control practices.
Preferred experience establishing engineering standards, reference architectures, technical governance frameworks, leading technical teams, and mentoring junior engineers.
