Responsibilities
- Build and maintain HappyFox product offerings and consistently ship features and improvements.
- Lead a team of engineers working on the product roadmap.
- Oversee software architecture, Git workflows, code reviews, and development quality.
- Identify, minimize, and manage technical debt while improving developer experience and codebase quality.
- Define and uphold coding, maintainability, and engineering best practices.
- Own key technical architecture and design decisions, as well as the stability and performance of services.
- Contribute to the strategic vision and long-term roadmap for the area of expertise.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a technical lead role designing and building single-page web applications.
- At least 8 years of relevant professional experience building web applications with JavaScript frameworks such as Ember.js or React.js.
- Deep knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience building single-page applications and understanding of applicable best practices and coding patterns.
- Ability to troubleshoot technically complex problems and develop solutions.
- Pragmatic judgment regarding product value, reliability, performance, and business needs.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical viewpoints clearly and effectively.
