Base Salary
$145k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and ship front-end features for Ask Alteryx and related AI experiences.
- Design reusable, documented component patterns and release processes for cross-company adoption.
- Partner with Product, Design, Backend, and Platform teams to deliver end-to-end experiences.
- Improve accessibility, performance, testing, code quality, and overall UI quality.
- Lead refactoring, modernization, architectural decisions, and technical direction.
- Review code, mentor senior engineers, develop team capabilities, and influence decisions beyond the immediate team.
- Contribute to API design, backend integrations, and service improvements when project needs require it.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience building production front-end systems with React and TypeScript.
- Strong experience with component libraries such as MUI or similar.
- Experience building complex user-facing products with high usability and reliability standards.
- Strong fundamentals in testing, code quality, and scalable UI architecture.
- Experience owning broader architecture, technical direction, and team enablement while shipping features.
- Demonstrated technical leadership for a team or area and strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Preferred experience includes micro frontend architectures, Module Federation, design systems, AI-assisted or agentic product experiences, ambiguous product environments, and full-stack development.
Benefits
- Base salary varies by location: $175,000-$190,000 in New York, Boston, San Francisco, and Seattle; $160,000-$175,000 in other major US metro areas; and $145,000-$160,000 in all other US locations.
- Eligible for a target annual bonus of 15% of base salary.
- Monthly Connectivity Plus stipend of $150 for remote work-related expenses.
- Annual $200 home office reimbursement.
