Responsibilities
- Architect and build mobile experiences used by millions of consumers.
- Own feature development end-to-end from discovery and development through monitoring and maintenance.
- Collaborate with backend teams to align underlying systems with mobile product evolution.
- Champion testing, monitoring, release strategy, and other technical best practices.
- Mentor peers, review code, and contribute to Checkout.com’s long-term mobile technical vision.
- Work with product, design, and engineering stakeholders to deliver scalable consumer experiences.
Requirements
- Have a solid background in mobile technologies, including native Android and Kotlin.
- Demonstrate experience building scalable, highly performant consumer experiences.
- Have experience building and maintaining mobile apps or SDKs used by a large active user base.
- Value developer experience, clear APIs, strong documentation, and reliability at scale.
- Have excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Payments, fintech, security-sensitive domain, PCI compliance, tokenization, or secure data-handling experience is preferred.
