Responsibilities
- Develop unique, high-quality iOS user interfaces and consumer-facing product features.
- Build and improve shared iOS platform components, including media encoding, decoding and playback abstractions, performance tracing libraries, internal tooling, navigation, and deeplink components.
- Contribute to product roadmap creation, ideation, and engineering/product tradeoff decisions.
- Monitor analytics, manage system crashes, proactively address issues, and triage bug fixes.
- Share technical knowledge and stay current with Apple software development practices.
Requirements
- Professional experience in native iOS development using Swift or Objective-C.
- Strong understanding of computer systems fundamentals, including memory, cache friendliness, linking, and multithreading.
- Passion for and experience building consumer-facing products; examples of apps built are welcomed.
- Professional or academic experience with C or C++ is preferred.
- Experience with graphics programming using OpenGL or Metal is preferred.
- Engineers of varying levels are being hired; applicants should indicate their years of experience for appropriate placement.
