Base Salary
$160k - $177k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and support enterprise platforms, services, APIs, integrations, and automation that enable software delivery.
- Lead technical execution of cloud adoption, migration programs, and engineering platform modernization.
- Partner with product owners, architects, platform teams, and engineering leaders on technical roadmaps and delivery.
- Drive engineering practices related to observability, security, reliability, testing, DevOps, and operational excellence.
- Perform hands-on development, scripting, troubleshooting, production support, and root-cause analysis.
- Evaluate AI-assisted development capabilities and other emerging technologies to improve delivery effectiveness.
- Mentor engineers and influence technical direction across globally distributed, cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- 8+ years of software engineering experience building and supporting enterprise applications.
- 5+ years of experience designing and implementing APIs, distributed systems, integrations, or microservice-based architectures.
- Strong proficiency in a modern programming language such as Java, Python, or C#, along with Linux or Windows scripting such as Bash or PowerShell.
- Experience with enterprise application integrations, service-oriented architectures, large-scale technology transformations, automation, source control, and DevOps practices.
- Understanding of RESTful API design, integration patterns, authentication, authorization, and application security principles.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and Agile delivery experience.
- Preferred qualifications include cloud migration experience; AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform; Jira Cloud and Atlassian ecosystem experience; Linux/Unix administration; platform automation; observability and production support; AI-assisted software development tools; regulated-industry experience; and mentoring or technical-direction experience.
