Base Salary

$122k - $225k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain production-grade applications using TypeScript, Node.js, React, and modern web technologies.
  • Develop APIs, services, and user experiences supporting critical business functions.
  • Deliver complex software features and systems from requirements gathering through deployment and operational support.
  • Design and evolve relational and NoSQL data models and scalable architectures for manufacturing and engineering applications.
  • Optimize application performance, reliability, security, maintainability, and user experience across distributed environments.
  • Lead complex technical initiatives, architectural decisions, technical discussions, and cross-functional decision-making.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Robotics, Design Engineering, and Operations teams.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through technical guidance, code reviews, and design reviews.
  • Drive software quality, testing strategies, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across development processes and tooling.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including significant full-stack development experience.
  • Expert-level proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js.
  • Extensive experience developing modern web applications using React or comparable front-end frameworks.
  • Strong expertise in relational and NoSQL database design, data modeling, and system architecture.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and delivering large-scale, production-ready software systems.
  • Experience leading complex technical initiatives across multiple projects or teams.
  • Strong software design, debugging, performance optimization, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lawfully access information and technology subject to U.S. export controls.
  • Preferred experience includes cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, event-driven applications, Kubernetes, Docker, automated testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, enterprise manufacturing systems, and mentoring engineers.
