Base Salary
$100k - $175k/yr
Responsibilities
- Take critical internal and customer-facing software tools from concept to production.
- Design, build, and ship robust tools across front-end, desktop, back-end, and data systems.
- Make architectural decisions and own delivery against deadlines.
- Maintain a high bar for software performance and reliability.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of relevant industry experience.
- Proficiency with React, React Native, Node.js, TypeScript, and related linting and testing frameworks.
- Experience building web and desktop applications using technologies such as NW.js or Electron.
- Hands-on proficiency with Python and experience with Django, Flask, or similar frameworks.
- Strong foundation in relational and non-relational databases, caching systems, ORMs, and time-series databases.
- Experience with distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and microservices.
- Experience automating testing and deployment with CI tooling such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
- Strong computer science fundamentals, including data structures and reusable, extensible code.
- Ability to work independently with minimal instruction and communicate effectively across multiple teams.
- Experience with container orchestration tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, or Podman.
- Experience building hardware-companion or device-configuration software with serial or USB communications is preferred.
- Experience with the Bazel build system is preferred.
- Time-series or telemetry data experience with InfluxDB and Graphana is preferred.
- FPV or drone domain knowledge is preferred.
