Base Salary
$140k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Shape the product by partnering with Product to define and deliver features.
- Design and implement core application components and critical services.
- Establish quality thresholds and release criteria for software.
- Define best practices for AI-assisted development and code review.
- Build product capabilities end-to-end using Python and Next.js.
- Develop internal tooling and scripts to improve developer experience.
- Collaborate with Platform Engineering and DevOps for CI/CD consistency.
- Translate validated prototypes into production implementations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong experience in building and operating production distributed systems.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with Next.js/TypeScript.
- Fluency with AI coding tools and agents like Claude Code and GitHub Copilot.
- Strong system design skills including APIs and data flows.
- Experience with observability and operational excellence.
- Background in automated testing and CI/CD tooling.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to various stakeholders.
- Experience in a healthcare SaaS environment is preferred.
