Responsibilities
- Evaluate and evolve performance standards and methodologies across cloud services.
- Influence cloud-service architecture and design to maximize performance, scalability, availability, and reliability.
- Benchmark, profile, monitor, and analyze systems to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Resolve production performance, scaling, and stability issues across service tiers.
- Develop, design, debug, and optimize software applications or operating systems.
- Drive operational maturity and key performance indicator improvements across services.
- Manage system changes, organize incident-management practices, and participate in major technical migrations.
- Lead performance initiatives, recommend transformative changes, and mentor team members on optimization and architectural best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
- Proficiency in Java/J2EE; Python experience is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing, enterprise software architecture, algorithms, and design patterns.
- Experience with microservices architecture, load testing using JMeter, profiling, monitoring, and analysis tools.
- Experience resolving performance, scaling, and stability issues.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Kafka, caching, Elasticsearch, Big Data, Linux, Docker, virtualization, compute, and networking.
- Database SQL analysis and data-modeling or tuning experience using AWR reports and SQLHC.
- Experience with Shell/Python scripting and Jenkins-based CI/CD automation.
- Exposure to AI/ML, prompt engineering, NLP, and speech processing.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and technical leadership skills.
- Experience with analytics products and Oracle Cloud is an added advantage.
