Base Salary
$150k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Advise enterprise customers on agent architecture, evaluation strategies, and production best practices.
- Co-build agent systems with customer engineering teams across the full Agent Development Lifecycle.
- Embed within customer organizations as a de facto engineering team member to ship agent systems.
- Design and implement agent architectures, orchestration patterns, evaluation systems, custom conversational UIs, and production deployments.
- Apply post-training, supervised fine-tuning, harness engineering, trace mining, model selection, and evaluation methodologies.
Requirements
- Have 4+ years of software engineering experience with deep expertise in Python.
- Have 2+ years of hands-on experience building and shipping production agent systems.
- Communicate architectural decisions confidently to engineers, architects, CTOs, and other technical stakeholders.
- Have strong experience with LangChain, LangGraph, Deep Agents, or comparable frameworks, including multi-agent patterns and short- and long-term memory.
- Have deep familiarity with evaluation methodologies for non-deterministic AI systems.
- Be comfortable working across advisory, co-building, and embedded delivery engagements.
- Preferred: experience with dataset curation and post-training techniques such as SFT, DPO, and RLHF on open-weight models.
- Preferred: experience using Axolotl, Unsloth, Hugging Face Transformers, or TRL.
- Preferred: experience with trace mining and continuous improvement loops.
