Responsibilities
- Build maintainable backend services and APIs in Python and modern user experiences in React.
- Collaborate with Staff Engineers and Product Managers to define and refine product architecture.
- Own the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of features.
- Write comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality.
- Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
- Identify technical challenges and drive practical solutions.
- Contribute to architecture decisions and development best practices.
- Adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software development experience; 14+ years preferred.
- 3+ years of professional Python experience building production-grade APIs.
- 3+ years of professional React experience with modern frameworks and testing tools.
- Demonstrated ability to build and own full-stack features.
- Strong commitment to comprehensive testing practices.
- Proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience leading system architecture decisions preferred.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and CI/CD tools preferred.
- Professional Node.js experience preferred.
