Base Salary
$127k - $209k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and guide AI solution architecture across a corporate technology segment or domain.
- Create reusable AI patterns that can be adopted across teams and products.
- Define target-state architectures, technology roadmaps, and architectural frameworks.
- Support technology modernization and continuous transformation initiatives while reducing technical debt.
- Design solutions using API-first, event-driven, and other modern integration patterns.
- Partner with the Enterprise AI Architect to align corporate AI solutions with enterprise architectures, standards, and governance.
- Build relationships, encourage stakeholder buy-in, and guide development teams on technical strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related STEM field, or equivalent education and/or work experience.
- At least four additional years of architecture or software engineering experience.
- Alternatively, six years of demonstrated engineering experience or two to three years of technology architecture experience are described in the qualifications.
- Recent hands-on architecture or engineering experience with modern technologies and successful modernization initiatives.
- Experience with API-first and event-driven architecture; familiarity with MCP is a plus.
- Exposure to AI solution patterns, including LLM-enabled applications and considerations involving evaluation, observability, latency, and cost, is strongly preferred.
- Experience working in an agile operating model and understanding of value creation and business capability models.
- Insurance technology or corporate capability experience in areas such as Finance, Investments, Billing & Payments, Procurement, or Legal is preferred.
- Knowledge of the insurance industry and strong analytical, decision-making, collaboration, communication, and listening skills.
