Base Salary
$120k - $199k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver production-grade harness capabilities for generative AI applications.
- Drive architecture and system design for agentic components across multiple teams.
- Embed with partner teams to accelerate high-priority agentic delivery and leave teams able to sustain the work.
- Lead solution design, participate in stakeholder conversations, and build collective ownership across engineering, architecture, and product.
- Advance test automation and improve the quality of the harness and the systems it supports.
- Identify and resolve cross-team dependencies and delivery bottlenecks.
- Mentor engineers and contribute reusable capabilities rather than one-off solutions.
- Translate technical direction into terms business stakeholders can act on.
- Share harness patterns and practices through cross-organizational engineering events and technical forums.
Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on software development experience, including production delivery of AI solutions supported at scale.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with additional languages such as TypeScript for AI integrations.
- Hands-on experience building, deploying, and evaluating generative AI applications, including orchestration, tool interfaces, context and memory management, and guardrails.
- Experience with agentic coding tools and the ability to assess their strengths and limitations.
- Experience with AWS and/or Azure, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code such as Terraform or CDK, and CI/CD tooling such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
- Experience designing, delivering, and maintaining large distributed production applications in enterprise settings, including third-party vendor software and secure-by-design development.
- SME-level depth in multiple technical disciplines and the ability to work across unfamiliar codebases and multiple projects.
- Strong communication skills for leading technical conversations with non-technical stakeholders and translating capabilities into business outcomes.
- Experience with agentic runtimes and harness platforms such as AWS AgentCore.
- Experience with open-source agent frameworks such as Strands Agents or LangGraph.
- Experience deploying Kubernetes applications with Helm.
- Experience with observability tooling and distributed tracing in production environments.
- Experience applying zero-trust security principles to enterprise systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related STEM field, or equivalent education and/or work experience.
