Responsibilities
- Design and develop large-scale distributed software services and solutions.
- Perform system design across interfaces and components, participate in design and code reviews, and use data and telemetry to guide decisions.
- Build modular, secure, reliable, diagnosable, monitored, reusable, and maintainable services and components.
- Improve test coverage, implement integration tests, troubleshoot problems, and determine when code is ready to ship.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver cohesive customer experiences using a data-driven approach.
- Troubleshoot and optimize automation, reliability, and monitoring for Live Site.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 2+ years of technical engineering experience coding in Swift, Objective-C, React, Java, Kotlin, C++, C#, or Python, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
- Preferred: master’s degree and 3+ years of technical engineering experience, or bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of technical engineering experience, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: 2+ years designing, developing, or maintaining secure software systems, including experience with authentication, data protection, access control, and secure coding practices.
- Preferred: 2+ years designing, building, or operating scalable, highly available cloud services or distributed systems on Azure, AWS, GCP, or comparable environments, including production ownership, CI/CD integration, and automated testing.
- Preferred: experience building or integrating AI/ML-powered systems or workflows, including model-output handling, orchestration, or agent-based systems.
Benefits
- The typical U.S. base pay range is USD $102,100-$202,200 per year, with a separate San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan area range of USD $133,800-$219,200 per year.
- Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
- The position is open for at least five days, with applications accepted on an ongoing basis until filled.
