Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and operate software control systems for Amazon RDS Oracle databases in AWS.
- Build automation for database provisioning, scaling, failover, monitoring, replication, and disaster recovery.
- Design reliable and scalable systems that manage large numbers of databases and extensive storage globally.
- Own major deliverables end-to-end, from project scoping through development and operation.
- Collaborate with engineers and partner teams using iterative development practices focused on software excellence.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
