Responsibilities
- Build reliable, scalable, high-performance solutions across the Commerce stack.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and internal customers to deliver customer-focused technical outcomes.
- Support Commerce platforms in dedicated clouds by resolving issues with sustainable solutions.
- Use telemetry to identify patterns and trends and improve operations through automation.
- Develop scripts and automation to resolve complex problems and prevent recurring service issues.
- Conduct root-cause analyses and share end-to-end service expertise while maintaining security and compliance.
- Implement automation to monitor and manage distributed systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Proven coding experience in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Active U.S. Government Top Secret clearance with SCI access based on an SSBI with polygraph.
- Ability to pass Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements and recurring Microsoft Cloud background checks.
- U.S. citizenship, with citizenship verification required for applicable government customer restrictions.
- Preferred: academic, internship, or early professional experience with cloud-based or distributed systems.
- Preferred: exposure to Azure services and hands-on PowerShell or Python scripting.
- Preferred: familiarity with monitoring, logging, telemetry, incident response, root-cause analysis, and automation.
- Preferred: introductory knowledge of CI/CD pipelines or deployment workflows and the ability to debug and communicate technical findings.
Benefits
- The typical U.S. base pay range is $85,400-$168,100 per year, with a separate range for the San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan area.
- Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
