Base Salary
$236k - $339k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the design and delivery of complex platform initiatives spanning cluster lifecycle management, multi-cloud automation, and internal developer tooling.
- Drive cross-team technical improvements from architecture through adoption.
- Make and defend architectural trade-offs based on reliability, scalability, and operational realities.
- Act as a technical anchor by developing expertise in others, raising engineering standards, and resolving difficult technical problems.
- Improve developer velocity and the reliability of the platform experience for thousands of internal engineers.
Requirements
- Significant experience designing and operating large-scale distributed systems in production.
- Experience owning Kubernetes or similar orchestration systems at scale, including cluster lifecycle, upgrades, and fleet management across a heterogeneous fleet.
- Proficiency in Go or a comparable systems language.
- Experience operating across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Experience with GPU infrastructure or AI/ML training workloads at scale is a plus.
- Open-source contributions to Kubernetes or related ecosystem projects are a plus.
