Base Salary
$235k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own architecture and technical direction for the robotics software stack.
- Lead formal release processes, packaging, and deployment hygiene for fielded systems.
- Build and operate CI/CD infrastructure for robotics or hardware-in-the-loop systems.
- Mentor the robotics software team and establish standards for code quality.
- Coordinate across perception, controls, embedded systems, and electrical engineering.
- Own the transition from prototype software to fielded software used by customers and operators.
Requirements
- 10+ years of robotics software engineering experience with shipped systems.
- Senior individual-contributor experience at robotics, defense robotics, automotive autonomy, or aerospace robotics organizations that shipped software to customers or operators.
- Deep ROS2 experience and sound judgment about when to use it.
- Experience building and operating CI/CD for robotics or hardware-in-the-loop systems.
- Experience taking software through formal release, packaging, and deployment to end users.
- BS, MS, or PhD in computer science, robotics, electrical engineering, or equivalent; demonstrated track record is valued more than the degree.
- Preferred: real-time systems, sensor fusion or perception, and defense or safety-critical software release experience.
