Responsibilities
- Lead impactful customer technical projects by delivering production-grade systems.
- Guide strategic customers in implementing transformational big data projects.
- Provide architecture and design guidance to customers.
- Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with customer needs.
- Collaborate with technical teams to meet customer requirements.
- Engage with customer stakeholders to understand challenges and deliver solutions.
- Contribute to reusable assets and best practices to scale impact.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in data engineering, data platforms, or software engineering.
- Proficient in coding with Python, Scala, JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Familiar with two or more cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Deep experience with Apache Spark and its runtime internals.
- Knowledge of CI/CD for production deployments.
- Experience with MLOps and AI model integration.
- Proven track record in managing technical project delivery.
- Strong documentation and white-boarding skills.
- Experience working with enterprise clients and managing stakeholder conflicts.
- Fluent in Japanese and professionally proficient in English.
- Willingness to travel to customers 20% of the time.
- Databricks Certification is preferred.
