Responsibilities
- Translate client business priorities into practical AI-enabled solutions.
- Build and deploy agentic AI systems end-to-end in client environments.
- Develop prototypes and take them through production-grade delivery.
- Configure and deploy pre-built agentic products for client environments.
- Design solutions using the Avanade Agentic Platform and Microsoft AI stack.
- Apply agent-assisted development, automated evaluation, reusable components, observability, and production operations.
- Evaluate systems for accuracy, failure handling, tool use, retrieval, and guardrails.
- Maintain alignment between delivered systems and measurable business outcomes.
- Contribute reusable components, patterns, and assets to the APAC IP library and Avanade Agentic Platform.
- Operate with high autonomy and communicate directly with client stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software or AI engineering experience with production systems to demonstrate.
- Strong practical command of Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, Azure OpenAI, and agent orchestration; equivalent experience with another stack may be considered if transferable.
- Full-stack capability across front end, APIs, data, and agent orchestration sufficient to ship complete systems.
- Experience building and evaluating agentic systems involving retrieval, tool use, and failure handling.
- Experience taking prototypes into production at pace.
- Ability to work autonomously in client environments and engage directly with stakeholders.
- Ability to discuss business priorities as well as technical implementation.
- Ability to deliver production systems without leaving unresolved implementation work for others.
