Responsibilities
- Develop AI applications that transition prototypes into production-grade agentic workflows, including multi-agent systems and Model Context Protocol servers.
- Architect and code integrations between Google AI products and customer infrastructure, including APIs, legacy data silos, and security perimeters.
- Build evaluation pipelines and observability frameworks for agentic-system accuracy, safety, and latency.
- Identify recurring field patterns and convert them into reusable modules or formal product feature requests.
- Co-build with customer engineering teams to apply development best practices and support project success and end-user adoption.
- Provide AI system deployment support and relay field insights into Google Cloud product-roadmap improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
- Five years of experience with Python and a related machine learning package such as Keras, PyTorch, or Hugging Face Transformers.
- Experience building systems around pre-trained models, including prompt engineering, fine-tuning, retrieval-augmented generation, and tool orchestration.
- Experience architecting, deploying, or managing solutions on a cloud platform such as Google Cloud Platform.
- Fluent Japanese and English communication skills for interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
- Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in AI, computer science, or a related technical field.
- Preferred: experience implementing multi-agent systems with LangGraph, CrewAI, or Google’s Agent Development Kit and patterns such as ReAct, self-reflection, and hierarchical delegation.
- Preferred: knowledge of large-language-model-native metrics, state-management optimization, and granular tracing.
