Responsibilities
- Design client solutions with account executives throughout pre-sales, solution design, and implementation.
- Develop proof-of-concept applications on Airwallex and present technical demonstrations.
- Identify and troubleshoot integration issues and promote best-practice developer experiences.
- Provide product teams with strategic feedback to improve implementation processes and accelerate time to go live.
- Own outstanding deliverables across the end-to-end project delivery lifecycle and track them against project plans.
- Partner with engineering, product, sales, customers, and executives to ensure successful technical delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with strong academic achievement.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar customer-facing engineering role, such as solution consultant, solutions architect, sales engineer, or IT consultant.
- Strong problem-solving skills and comfort working with customers, partners, and engineering teams.
- Understanding of at least one major programming language, such as PHP, Ruby, Python, JavaScript, or Java.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs into web applications.
- Preferred: knowledge of payments or financial services.
- Preferred: experience integrating with Xero, NetSuite, Fusion Cloud, or QuickBooks.
- Preferred: executive engagement, relationship-building, organizational, strategic-thinking, and independent decision-making skills.
