Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and optimize high-performance applications using C programming.
- Customize and enhance standard software products based on business requirements.
- Analyze complex actuarial mathematical and business problems, particularly in the life insurance domain.
- Collaborate with business analysts, actuarial specialists, domain experts, and cross-functional teams.
- Ensure code quality, performance optimization, and adherence to best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, workshops, training sessions, and technical discussions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
- 6+ years of professional experience in C/C++ development.
- Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of software customization and product-based development.
- Interest or experience in the life insurance domain is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and English proficiency at C1 level.
- Flexibility to work with different technologies, tools, and programming languages as project needs evolve.
- Willingness to travel to client locations as required.
