Responsibilities
- Architect workload and service-management infrastructure.
- Hands-on develop critical infrastructure components.
- Decompose complex infrastructure problems into straightforward solutions and help teams prioritize work.
- Define roadmaps for scalable and robust application infrastructure.
- Provide technical guidance to engineers and align with product and technology stakeholders.
- Design scalable systems and services with high-quality architecture.
- Investigate critical system issues, address root causes, and improve operational excellence.
- Collaborate with technology leaders to make services extensible and enable innovation.
- Hire and develop technical leaders and senior individual contributors.
Requirements
- 12+ years of professional software development experience.
- Hands-on experience designing and developing large-scale distributed systems within the last 3 years.
- Fluency in one or more of Java, Go, or Python.
- Experience with Amazon EKS.
- A proven track record of delivering mission-critical systems.
- Experience developing and growing senior individual contributors globally.
- Experience with cloud computing using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with machine-learning job deployment infrastructure such as Argo CD workflows.
- Preferred: hands-on experience with Kubernetes and gRPC.
- Preferred: deep understanding of operating system kernels and distributed systems such as Kafka, Cassandra, and MongoDB.
- Preferred: proficiency with ML infrastructure and deployment frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, TensorRT, and Triton Backend.
