Responsibilities
- Drive high-quality system architecture and design for Supply Chain products.
- Create roadmaps and technical vision for scalable and robust product growth.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to build open and extensible platforms.
- Align stakeholders and lead engineers on mission-critical projects.
- Decompose complex problems into straightforward solutions using internal and industry best practices.
- Deep-dive into and resolve critical system issues.
- Partner with Product to shape product direction and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and/or master’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- At least 12 years of software design and development experience using Java and Python.
- Proven experience designing and building large-scale distributed systems in the Supply Chain domain.
- Experience with large-system architecture design and development.
- Experience with cloud computing using AWS.
- Experience developing container-based testing environments.
- Experience with Java, IntelliJ, and Spring.
- Preferred: deep understanding of the Supply Chain domain and AWS ecosystem, including compute, storage, and distributed services.
- Preferred: ability to mentor junior engineers, influence team architecture, and communicate effectively.
