Base Salary
$120k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and AI applications for complex business problems.
- Design and develop agentic AI-powered search and chat applications.
- Develop AI pathways for the Alight engineering organization.
- Design experiments, evaluate application and model performance, and analyze results to improve model performance.
- Prepare, clean, transform, and engineer features from data.
- Work with stakeholders to develop and tune algorithms for business needs.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical business partners.
- Collaborate with a global, cross-functional engineering team and evaluate emerging tools and technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Data Science, Math, Actuarial Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with Python or Spark, including ScalaSpark or PySpark.
- Experience with machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow, Keras, and PyTorch.
- Knowledge of deep learning architectures and techniques, including convolutional neural networks, recurrent neural networks, and reinforcement learning.
- Familiarity with AWS data and data science tools including SageMaker, Glue, and Lambda.
- Experience with Agile and DevOps development processes.
- Familiarity with Git, JIRA, Artifactory, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
- Strong communication skills for explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- US citizenship is required because the role manages services provided to the federal government or a federal government contractor.
