Responsibilities
- Implement FX trading systems hands-on and develop solutions that benefit the business.
- Design and develop system architecture and enhance the quality of technical deliverables.
- Work directly with FX trading and quantitative teams and end users.
- Build new systems, replace legacy systems, and renovate existing systems.
- Troubleshoot issues across software, hardware, and network environments.
- Define and implement departmental best practices and processes.
- Maintain desktop procedures, supporting documentation, and policy compliance.
Requirements
- Proven understanding of foreign exchange is highly preferred.
- Understanding of ultra-low-latency development practices.
- Proven track record of building new systems, replacing legacy systems, and renovating existing systems.
- Knowledge of software, hardware, and networks for defining solutions and troubleshooting issues.
- Strong communication skills with confidence communicating across teams and organizational levels.
- Hands-on engineering ability, including deep analysis of products and codebases and providing detailed feedback.
- Awareness of industry trends and the ability to leverage new technologies appropriately.
