Responsibilities
- Own complex platform architecture, including multi-terabyte data synchronization and secure sandbox infrastructure.
- Architect, build, and ship scalable full-stack features using React and TypeScript.
- Design systems to synchronize and index large volumes of client data while enforcing strict permissions.
- Build infrastructure for millions of LLM calls per month with high reliability and security.
- Implement secure code sandbox solutions capable of spawning thousands of sandboxes per day.
- Create infrastructure and tooling for rapid custom integrations.
- Collaborate on technical roadmaps and architectural decisions.
- Debug production incidents, identify root causes, and implement durable fixes.
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct thorough code reviews, and improve engineering standards and team performance.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong full-stack background and demonstrated frontend work.
- Production experience with React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with tRPC, Kubernetes, and modern frontend tooling.
- Ability to design, scale, and maintain complex architectures for high-growth products.
- Experience operating large-scale, reliable, and secure systems, such as large dataset synchronization, high-volume API or LLM processing, or secure multi-tenant infrastructure.
- Experience owning substantial initiatives end-to-end from conception through ongoing operation.
- Ability to mentor engineers, conduct thorough code reviews, and shape engineering standards.
- Strong product ownership mindset and attention to user experience and long-term product success.
- Currently based in Munich.
Benefits
- Annual salary range of 70,000 to 90,000 EUR.
