Responsibilities
- Define and lead end-to-end OSS/BSS solution architectures for large transformation programmes across hybrid-cloud, on-premises, multi-vendor environments.
- Create architecture documents, integration designs, decision records, and reusable patterns for delivery teams.
- Review designs and address risks involving quality, consistency, resilience, and maintainability.
- Lead architecture for strategic bids and customer engagements, translating transformation goals into technology solutions.
- Present architecture recommendations to customer technology leaders and review boards.
- Partner with sales and commercial teams to assess scope, feasibility, and delivery risks.
- Establish architecture governance, standards, and reference materials for the regional architecture community.
- Provide oversight across active programmes and resolve cross-programme design decisions.
- Mentor architects and contribute to global architecture communities.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in IT and telecommunications, including senior solution or enterprise architecture roles on major programmes.
- Demonstrated ownership of end-to-end architecture for large-scale, multi-country, multi-vendor OSS/BSS transformations.
- Experience building or significantly maturing an architecture governance function, such as a design authority or architecture board.
- Experience representing an organisation in an external standardisation forum such as TM Forum and influencing industry outputs.
- Experience coaching and upskilling architecture teams with demonstrable competency and career progression outcomes.
- TOGAF 9 certification or an equivalent enterprise architecture qualification.
- Strong ability to engage technology and business leaders, with excellent written and spoken English.
- Ability to lead across functions without formal authority, solve complex integration problems, work through ambiguity, and travel globally.
- Experience with Ericsson’s wider OSS/BSS portfolio, cloud deployments, EMEA transformation programmes, or GIAP certification is advantageous.
