Base Salary
$180k - $248k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with the sales team to provide technical leadership for customer solutions.
- Work directly with prospective customers on their initial journey with Databricks.
- Consult on big data architectures and implement proof of concepts for strategic projects.
- Validate integrations with cloud services and third-party applications.
- Collaborate with fellow Solutions Architects to support users and share expertise.
- Promote and recruit contributors for Databricks-inspired open-source projects.
Requirements
- 5+ years in data engineering, data science, technical architecture, or a similar role.
- Experience building distributed data systems at scale.
- Proficient in programming and debugging with Python and SQL.
- Experience with public cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Expertise in data engineering or data science technologies.
- Available to travel to customers in your region.
- Desired degree in a quantitative discipline.
- Databricks Certification is a plus.
