Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and maintain Salesforce CI/CD pipelines using Microsoft Azure DevOps and related tools.
- Automate Salesforce deployment, testing, and release processes.
- Manage code repositories, branching strategies, version control, and Salesforce metadata deployments.
- Develop automation scripts and tools to improve operational efficiency and developer experience.
- Design and implement unit, integration, and end-to-end testing frameworks for Salesforce delivery.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, and business teams on DevOps, security, and compliance guidelines.
- Resolve deployment, automation, and platform-operation issues.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers and developers.
- Drive continuous improvement in DevOps processes, tooling, onboarding, and developer enablement.
Requirements
- Typically 9+ years of DevOps engineering experience focused on automation, CI/CD, and pipeline management.
- Expertise in Microsoft Azure DevOps, including pipeline design, automation, and integration.
- Advanced proficiency with Git, repository management, and branching and merging strategies.
- Deep Salesforce platform delivery experience, including Salesforce DX, scratch orgs, sandbox management, and metadata deployments.
- Strong Apex coding skills, including Apex CLI, plus familiarity with Python, Shell, or PowerShell.
- Experience designing and implementing Salesforce unit, integration, and end-to-end testing frameworks.
- Experience with release management, structured deployment processes, and resolving deployment failures.
- Knowledge of Salesforce and cloud-environment security guidelines.
- Experience with additional tools such as Copado, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Terraform is desirable.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I/II or Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Associate certification is desirable.
- Experience with large-scale, multi-org Salesforce automation and citizen-developer enablement is desirable.
