Responsibilities
- Own the design, development, and delivery of enterprise DevOps automation, tooling, and platform architecture across the application lifecycle.
- Enable product teams to self-service environment provisioning, builds, and deployments through secure and scalable DevOps solutions.
- Define architectural standards for Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, TFS pipelines, GitOps, Terraform, Ansible, and ARM templates.
- Architect infrastructure provisioning patterns and manage container workloads using Kubernetes, AKS, Docker, and Helm.
- Build internal tooling and APIs with PowerShell and Python, including FastAPI or equivalent frameworks.
- Integrate monitoring and observability tools including Datadog, Prometheus, ELK, and AppInsights.
- Collaborate with SRE, CloudOps, Security, IT, Product Engineering, and executive stakeholders on resilient and compliant infrastructure patterns.
- Lead incident response, technical root-cause analysis, pipeline stability improvements, and rollback strategies.
- Champion reusable DevOps toolkits and frameworks that improve consistency, speed, and reliability across global engineering teams.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in software engineering or platform architecture with proven enterprise-grade delivery.
- 4+ years of experience designing DevOps architecture in Azure-heavy, Microsoft-technology environments.
- Mastery of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and TFS, along with GitOps principles and infrastructure as code.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes or AKS and Docker/Helm deployments.
- Strong backend and API automation experience using PowerShell and Python, including FastAPI or similar tools.
- Experience integrating monitoring and observability solutions such as Datadog, Prometheus, and ELK.
- Understanding of platform security, compliance, multi-tenant resilience, and rollback strategies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-influencing skills across engineering, operations, security, IT, and executive teams.
- Preferred certifications include Azure Solutions, Azure DevOps, or relevant cloud infrastructure-as-code certifications.
