Responsibilities
- Own the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade DevOps automation, tooling, and platform architecture.
- Enable product teams to self-service environment provisioning, builds, and deployments through secure and scalable DevOps solutions.
- Define architectural standards for Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, TFS pipelines, and GitOps-based toolchains.
- Architect infrastructure templates and provisioning patterns using Terraform, Ansible, and ARM templates.
- Manage container workloads and deployment strategies using Kubernetes, AKS, Docker, and Helm.
- Build internal tooling and APIs using PowerShell, Python, and FastAPI or equivalent technologies.
- Integrate monitoring and observability tools including Datadog, Prometheus, ELK, and AppInsights.
- Collaborate with SRE, CloudOps, Security, IT, Product Engineering, and executive stakeholders.
- Lead incident response, technical root cause analysis, and improvements to pipeline stability and rollback mechanisms.
- Champion reusable DevOps toolkits and frameworks across global engineering teams.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in software engineering or platform architecture with proven enterprise-grade delivery.
- 4+ years of experience designing DevOps architecture in Azure-heavy, Microsoft-technology environments.
- Deep expertise in CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, TFS, GitOps principles, Terraform, Ansible, and ARM.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes or AKS, Docker, and Helm deployments.
- Strong backend and API automation experience with PowerShell and Python, including FastAPI or similar frameworks.
- Experience with monitoring and observability integrations such as Datadog, Prometheus, and ELK.
- Understanding of platform security, compliance, multi-tenant resilience, and rollback strategies.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-influence skills across engineering, operations, security, IT, and executive teams.
- Azure Solutions, Azure DevOps, or relevant cloud infrastructure-as-code certifications are preferred.
